How it works

Baysbrown is a grass campsite, and we accept tents and small campervans. Most fields have parking around, but some can be parked on.

We operate a first come, first served policy, so there is no need to book.

New arrivals can come between 2pm and 8pm.  Please check in at the house before pitching.

Once you’ve checked in, you can choose your own pitch.

Please note that we do not accept parties or large groups.  We ask everyone to be considerate of other campers, particularly between our quiet hours of 11pm to 7am.

WEEKEND AVAILABILITY

As we are a first-come, first-served campsite, we can become full on busy weekends, particularly during the peak season when the weather is good.

If you are planning to arrive on a Saturday during peak season, we recommend ringing ahead before setting off to check how much space we have available.

Please note that calling ahead does not reserve a pitch. Space can change throughout the day as guests arrive and leave.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU COME

We allow contained fire pits and barbecues until 10.30pm only.  They must be raised and not burn the ground.  Please bring your own wood.
Open campfires are not allowed.

We don’t have electric hook-up or hardstanding and we don’t accommodate motorhomes.

The campsite is in a rural location, so facilities are deliberately simple and you must bring everything you need with you – Chapel Stile, with its local shop and pub, is less than a mile away.

We accept dogs, but they must be kept under control, and you must clean up after them immediately.
